After countless hours of listening to a few of mae's new songs, I've decided I want a new overall style for my drawings and I know exactly how I want them to look. They're going to have a more sweet and light look to it I guess. I'm not sure how to describe it but they're going to be more cuteSIE and lightER. And I'm still going to keep that thing that I do where my pictures tell a story. Really, that's all I've been trying to get at and I can't really do that with the style I've been using. I'll still draw like that every once in a while though just because I want to do more human-like-but-anime-ish art.

So in a nutshell I'm going to try out comics, storybooks, and fairytales. Yay.

Seriously, mae influences the hell out of me. I want to layout all of their songs in a storybook. It'll be perfect.

Whoo, they're coming again in August! Can't wait.
